How to Adopt

Start by completing our adoption application. A volunteer will contact you within 48 hours for a quick phone chat, followed by a brief virtual home visit. We adopt to apartments and townhomes—renters just need landlord approval.

We primarily adopt within the Northern California Region, stretching from Auburn, through Sacramento, Napa, and Solano Counties- through the Bay Area and south to Monterey County. Applicants outside of Northern California are still permitted to apply.

Once approved, you can meet our adoptable dogs at an event or by scheduling a convenient time with their foster. This helps you find the dog that feels like the perfect fit.
